Encountering God in Everyday Life

September 17- October 29th, 2025, 7:00 – 8:30 PM
This 7-week, interactive workshop is designed to help you encounter God in everyday life. Learn how to hear and recognize His voice, sense His presence, and be led by His Spirit, thereby developing greater intimacy with Jesus. Additionally, this workshop will help unlock your spiritual gifts so that you can increase your influence and impact in the world. Workshop topics will include:
• Invitation to enter His presence: Restoring image of God.
• Encountering God in Scripture Meditation: Lectio Divina
• Encountering God through Interactive Gratitude and Immanuel Journaling
• Encountering God through Imaginative Prayer
• Power of rightful identity and blessing
• Encouraging others through the revelatory gift, part 1.
• Encouraging others through the revelatory gift, part 2.
Encountering God in Real Life is led by Susan Snyder, Newsong Prayer Team coordinator and a certified spiritual director, and guest spiritual directors. Requirements for workshop participation are a personal relationship with Jesus and a desire to grow in intimacy with God. This workshop serves as required training for involvement on the Newsong Encouraging Word Prayer Team.
The workshop begins virtually (via Zoom) on September 17th, 2025, and continues through October 29th. Each gathering takes place on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 PM PST.
